1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Canadian College of Aesthetic Dermatology (“CCAD”) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Educational Services
CCAD provides online aesthetic dermatology education courses, expert-led instruction, and related professional services. Our courses are designed for educational purposes and do not replace formal medical training, licensing, or certification required by regulatory bodies.
3. Restricted Courses
Certain courses (including but not limited to Botox/Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers) are restricted to licensed medical professionals only. By enrolling in these courses, you confirm that you hold the appropriate medical credentials and licensing.
4. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Users under 18 years of age require parental consent.
5. Payments and Refunds
Course purchases are one-time payments processed through Stripe. Subscription plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase, provided less than 25% of the course has been completed.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, videos, and instructor resources are the intellectual property of CCAD and Manouchehr Okhovat. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share course materials without written permission.
7. Educational Disclaimer
CCAD course materials provide educational guidance and should not be treated as medical advice. Always consult with a qualified medical professional for clinical decisions. Students are responsible for ensuring they comply with all applicable regulatory requirements in their jurisdiction.
8. Limitation of Liability
CCAD is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our platform or course materials. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
9. Account Termination
CCAD reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or share course materials without authorization. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your access to purchased course materials will be revoked.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our platform. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
